Renowned accomplished Malaysian musician Tengku Irfan returns to conduct the MPO, a testament of the MPO’s ability to nurture exceptional musical talents who thrive internationally. This concert opens with Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun followed by Tuba Concerto (featuring soloist Brett Stemple) written by John Williams; it is a rollicking adventure similar to his cinematic masterpieces. The concert will close with Tchaikovsky’s majestic Symphony No. 4. Get ready for an unforgettable music splendour, laced with Tengku Irfan’s sheer incisiveness and virtuosity, only at DFP.

  1. Only Malaysian citizens who meet the criteria for Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) are eligible to purchase a pair of tickets.

  2. Tickets can only be purchased at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) Box Office, Level 2, Tower 2, PETRONAS Twin Towers Kuala Lumpur during operating hours. (Tuesday – Saturday from 10:30am to 6:30pm. Closed on Sunday, Monday, and Public Holidays)

  3. Individuals must verify their STR status by logging into the official government website at https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my/ and email a copy of the "lulus" status to contactus@dfp.com.my and present their valid identification card (MyKad) at DFP Box Office.

  4. Each eligible individual is entitled to purchase one (1) pair of tickets at RM50 net per ticket.

  5. Each eligible individual can only purchase tickets for a maximum of two (2) concerts per year.

  6. Tickets purchased cannot be exchanged or sold.

  7. Ticket holders must present their valid identification card (MyKad) and the tickets for verification upon entry into the concert hall.
